What do young infants know about the world around them?

YOUR CHILD CAN HELP US FIND OUT...

The Oxford BabyLab is dedicated to providing answers to these questions.

By examining the normal course of development in young infants we hope to shed light on psychological processes such as early word learning, speech sound discrimination, visual perceptual development, and the developing understanding of the world of objects which surrounds newly born children.

Our research has received funding from the BBSRC, the ESRC, the MRC< the Leverhulme trust, the Wolfson Foundation, the University of Oxford, and approved by the Applied and Qualitative Ethics Commitee (AQREC Nos. A98.055, A00.028).
