How to get to the BabyLab The Oxford BabyLab is situated in the Department of Experimental Psychology, in the University of Oxford Science area, on the corner of South Parks Road, and St. Cross Street.
1) From the North: navigate to the A4165 (Banbury Road) from the ring road, and just on the approach to the centre of town, turn left at the lights down Parks Road (not Keble Road, as this is now blocked). Carry on down Parks Road until the traffic lights, at which point, turn left into South Parks Road. The Department of Experimental Psychology is at the end, where the road bends sharply to the right on the right hand corner. 2) From the South or West: approach Oxford on the A420 (The Botley Road) or the Abingdon Road (following the detour towards the railway station, turning right into the city centre). Follow signs for North Oxford, and Banbury. The Road will follow Hythe Bridge Street, veering left into Worcester Street, and then right, into Beaumont Street. At the Junction on St. Giles, turn left, and then fork right for the Banbury Road (A4165). At the traffic lights turn right, off the Banbury road and onto Parks Road. From Parks Road take a left turn at the traffic lights into South Parks Road. The Department of Experimental Psychology is at the end, where the road bends sharply to the right on the right hand corner. 3) From the East: it is possible to approach through East Oxford (from Headington, Cowley or Iffley) on any of these roads: A4158, B480, A420. All lead to Magdalen roundabout, just outside the centre of town. Follow the signs for the centre of town, taking the High Street over the river. At the lights, turn right, up Longwall Street, continuing until the road bends sharply to the left into South Parks Road, and the Department of Experimental Psychology is on the left hand corner.
